PUBLIC NOTICE
Be it known to all interested parties, members of the public, and the legal community of the State of California:
On August 12, 2025, I, Daevon-Jerrielle: Taylor, filed a formal complaint with the California State Bar against Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorneys Ashley Wold and Anthony Ellis for professional misconduct, evidence tampering, and due process violations arising from the matter of People v. Taylor, Case No. 24CJCF03632.
THE COMPLAINT ALLEGES:
1. Submission of False EvidenceDDA Ashley Wold entered into court record a false prior conviction absent from discovery and unsupported by admissible documentation — in violation of Rule 3.3, Rule 5-110(B), and established precedent (Napue v. Illinois).
2. Failure to Provide Verified WarrantsDDA Anthony Ellis has failed to produce valid, lawfully signed warrants containing required judicial and court identifiers, instead advancing prosecution with facially defective instruments.
3. Withholding Exculpatory EvidenceDDA Anthony Ellis has failed to disclose key discovery materials, including the falsified conviction record and validly issued warrants, in violation of Rule 5-110(D), Brady v. Maryland, and Cal. Penal Code § 1054.1.
EFFECT & IMPACT
This misconduct has resulted in continued prosecution without lawful process, causing:• Prolonged detention• Obstruction of defense• Deprivation of constitutional rights under the Sixth and Fourteenth Amendments
RELIEF REQUESTED
The California State Bar is hereby requested to:
Conduct a full investigation;
Determine whether Respondents’ actions constitute willful misconduct, dishonesty, or breach of ethical duty;
Impose appropriate discipline, including suspension or disbarment, if violations are substantiated.
